Janelle Ison

Finance and Grants Manager

Janelle Ison serves as Finance and Grants Manager for Family to Family Support Network, bringing more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in financial management, grant administration, operations, and program development. She oversees budgeting, grant compliance, and fiscal reporting, partnering with leadership and the Board of Directors to ensure responsible stewardship and organizational sustainability.

Janelle holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Program Management. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with healthcare systems, government agencies, foundations, and community organizations to develop programs that improve outcomes for children and families.

An adoptee and birth mother, Janelle has been personally and professionally involved in child and family advocacy for more than 25 years. She is passionate about elevating lived experience, strengthening family-centered services, and advancing meaningful systems change. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and son.
